The AMS 700™ Inflatable Penile Prosthesis includes fluid-filled cylinders that expand in girth and length (LGX) using a pump in the scrotum. It is the only penile implant with InhibiZone treatment that gradually releases from the device. The elution of the antibiotics in InhibiZone [over 14 days] creates a zone of inhibition surrounding the device. This is designed to be effective against bacteria commonly associated with inflatable penile prosthesis infections.
